Will this chinstrap fit my helmet?

Of course! Our design is not like many chinstraps you'll come across. We use Chicago screws that are fully removable from the chinstrap. This means all you have to feed through the loops on your helmet is the leather itself, as opposed to typically having big snaps get in the way.
How do I attach my chinstrap to my helmet?

Easy! Unscrew and remove the Chicago screws and feed the leather through the loop on your helmet. Reattach and tighten the Chicago screws to secure. The Chicago screws take a Torx (star) or flathead screwdriver.

Because of this design, our straps can fit any helmet and is stronger than the typical snaps you find on many chinstraps.
Can I have my chinstrap stitched?

No. We have stopped offering stitching chinstraps because we weren't happy with the end product and because we've found stitching can get jammed up or worn out in the cinch.
Do your chinstraps come with buckles?

No. We produce "West coast style" chin straps, meaning there is no plastic buckle.

We made this decision after lots of interviews, finding that most firefighters just cinch their chinstrap down as opposed to trying to find the buckle when masking up. Therefore, it made sense to get rid of a potential source of failure, especially since many don't use it at all.
Can you make a different design than what's on the customizer?

We sure can! Drop us an email or a DM on our socials and we'll do our best to make what you're looking for. Keep in mind that some custom work may come with an additional charge.
