About Us
Our Story
Arundel Leatherworks started the way a lot of good things do: with two guys living in a firehouse, and no intention of starting a business at all.
Before there was a company, there was just Ramy, making leather glove straps by hand since Velcro straps wear out and melt, and Ryan, who bought a mechanical sewing machine because of his interest in leatherworking. What started as a hobby for friends turned into a business almost overnight.
We spent the next stretch working out of a garage, teaching ourselves how to actually run a leatherworking operation, starting with tons of market research and talk to the folks who'll actually use their gear day to day. In March, we outgrew the garage for good and moved into our first commercial space in Crofton, Maryland, where we build everything today.
Founded in June 2025, Arundel Leatherworks has grown fast — our gear is now in the hands of customers in nearly all 50 states. But growth was never the point. The point was always the work.
What Sets Us Apart
Most leather goods on the market look the same, because most companies build them the same way. We do it differently. Before we design a single product, we do the market research. We look at what's already out there, we talk to the people who'll actually use it, and we find the gaps nobody else bothered to fill.
Where We're Headed
We're just getting started. From a firehouse kitchen table to a commercial shop in Crofton, Arundel Leatherworks has grown because we've stayed close to the people we build for. That's not changing — we're excited for what's next, and we're bringing our customers along for it.
